That's what the Digging Workshop is for. It's a hands-on, guided Scripture-digging experience for women who want more from their quiet time without a big financial investment. They want to dip their toes into the Scripture-digging pool to see what it's all about, and they don’t just want AI to give them the answers. They want to see how a Bible teacher actually thinks through a passage, so they can learn to do the same thing themselves.
Through the workshop, you’ll begin to learn how to actually study the Bible the way you’ve always been expected to, but no one ever taught you. You’ll learn what questions to ask, which resources to use, and which breadcrumbs to follow. And you’ll start to see what’s really there in the text with your own eyes, in a way that you never have before.
PART 1:

Passage: Psalm 23
You'll see my Bible pages, hear my thoughts, see my weeks' worth of handwritten notes, and follow along as I share my observations, ask questions, follow trails, and dig into biblical words through the entire psalm, from beginning to end. In other words, you get to jump inside of my brain as I walk you through my process. You'll see what I do as well as understand why I'm doing it.
PART 2:
it’s your turn
Passage: Psalm 121
Once you’ve watched me complete Psalm 23, you’ll get the chance to try it yourself with a psalm that is similar in both length and theme. You’ll have my Digging Map to guide you—a simple framework that gives your study structure without turning your quiet time into a 47-step Bible-study obstacle course.

You’ll have intentionally designed, printable worksheets to record your own observations, questions, word studies, and connections, and supplemental questions to keep your brain engaged.
At the end of the workshop, I’ll give you a short glimpse of how I approached my study of Psalm 121. But I won’t walk you through the whole thing because the point isn’t for you to become dependent upon me for the answers. I created this workshop so that you could become more confident studying it the same way yourself.

We booked a last minute trip to Maui on a whim five days before we flew out to squeeze out every last second of summer that we could. But it was more than just a quick trip or a visit home. It was revisiting a place where God moved in ways that have forever changed me.
I cried when we landed, the movie reel of miracles and deep heart healing God did here flashing through my mind in vivid color. And I cried when we left again four nights later.
I was eight years into our wait for a family when we moved here, 36 weeks pregnant with Jonathan when we left. And last weekend we returned to one of my favorite beaches to photograph sunset memories for families I’d never met back in my days as a portrait photographer. Only this time, my family was the subject. I’m a decade removed from our first miracle and I’m still not over it all.
And I never, ever will be.
